FAQ

You have questions, we have answers.

Where are your coffees from?

We buy our green coffee from around the globe via a variety of sources, including but not limited to, Genuine Origin, Sweet Maria’s & la bodega. Our menu rotates seasonally so we can offer you new & cool coffees throughout the year.

How does your coffee taste?

We buy coffees based on their flavor profile, so that when roasted you can taste all of the unique & natural flavors - Chocolate, fruit, nuts oh my! We never add any flavors or syrups to our coffee, so the flavors you taste are from the bean itself!

How fast will i get my coffee after I place an order?

we never keep roasted coffee on hand, so all orders are roasted-to-order! once an order is placed, we will roast and ship your coffee within 1-3 business days. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has shipped along with a tracking link. We primarily use USPS priority mail, so shipping should only take a couple days.

Sweet merch, do you make those items?

We use printful to manage most of our merch items, so your item is made-to-order. Please note that it will arrive to you separately, and some items may take longer to process depending on availability. We’ll do our best to keep you updated on merch orders, but please do check in oldmanmurphscoffee@gmail.com if you have any questions.

Can i visit your roastery?

our roastery is not open to the public. Currently, We are NOT offering old man murph’s coffee roastery tours, but will consider it in the future. please contact oldmanmurphscoffee@gmail.com with any special requests.

Can I sell your coffee at my businesS?

awww, how flattering! Please contact oldmanmurphscoffee@gmail.com and we can discuss your coffee needs!

What is the best way to brew your coffee?

We strongly recommend pour over brewing (hario v60, chemex) to get all of the spectacular flavors, but you can brew our coffee any way you’d like! we will be releasing new brew guides soon, stay tuned!

How should I store Old Man Murph’s coffee bags?

our coffee will stay fresh the longest in a cool dry place, out of direct sunlight. Although our coffee will not expire quickly, it does lose gasses after roasting so we strongly recommend using our coffee within a week or two for the best flavor. Storing our bags in the fridge won’t hurt, but over time the beans may soak in the other scents in your fridge.

How do you price your coffees?

our coffee menu prices are based on our costs; with green coffee costs, packaging & labeling, our roastery utilities & time all taken into consideration. We’ll try our best to keep prices low and reasonable, while more special coffees may require a higher cost. if you have questions on our pricing, please ask! just email oldmanmurphscoffee@gmail.com
